Linda Rae Hollingsworth went to be with our Lord on April 21, 2023, at 79 years of age after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Tom Hollingsworth, her sister Edna Yates, her mother Myrtle Gladney, and her father Travis Gladney. She is survived by her sons John and Justin, her sisters Patsy Collier and Glinda Lewis, her granddaughters Destiny and Natalie, her daughter in-law Marianna, niece Carrie Adams, nephews Bruce Yates, Lynn Yates, Keith Yates, Gary Collier, and Brandon Lewis, several other relatives and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her kind and loving spirit.
She grew up in the Hutchins Texas area, attending high school there. She married "Tommy" at the ripe old age of 19, and began raising her family. In 1981, she was a founding member of Gloria Dei Lutheran church in Garland. She was employed in the accounting department of a local bank, later at Texas Instruments, and also attended calligraphy classes at Southern Methodist University while her husband was studying mechanical engineering there. In 1986 she relocated with her family to the San Marcos area, where she worked in the payroll department of a local hospital. Following her husband's passing in 1994, she relocated to the DFW area to be near her sisters and other family, eventually settling in Ferris.

A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday May 13, 2023 at Trinity Cemetery in Wilmer.
