Lucy M. "Granny" Barboza was born August 3, 1925 in Taunton, Massachusetts and passed from this life on June 28, 2024 in Italy, TX.

Lucy had many loves. Anything outdoors was what she wanted to be doing from painting the house to replacing a roof or building a new workshop. She loved her horses, her motorcycle, her motorhome, and her lake house, but most of all, she loved her family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Arthur Barboza; her parents, Fransisco and Emily; 5 brothers; 1 sister; her grandson, James Barboza; her daughters-in-law, Juanelle Barboza and Donna Barboza.

Lucy is survived by her sons, Alfred Barboza and Steven Barboza; her grandchildren, Brian Barboza and wife Kim, Tina Barboza, and Christie Barboza; 7 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with a celebration of Lucy's life beginning at 1:00pm.
