Mancy Jo McCord was born September 19, 1930 in Scurry, TX to Omelia Pyle and Ethel May Davis Pyle and passed from this life on August 15, 2022 in Garland, TX. She graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in 1947 and married the love of her life, Ray L. McCord, on July 4, 1947. Mancy worked at Sears & Roebuck as a buyer with 37 years of service before she retired. She was also a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Hutchins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray L. McCord; her son, David Paul McCord; her brother, Dale Pyle; her sisters, Jimmie Buckinger and Lotte Smith.

Mancy is survived by her son, Donnie Ray, as well as Cindy, Cory, Lauren, Reese, and Claire McCord; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mancy's life will be held at graveside at 10:00am on Friday, August 19, 2022 in Trinity Cemetery, Wilmer, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Mancy's name to the First Baptist Church of Hutchins.
