Maria Bahena Solano, de DeSoto, Texas, falleció el 6 de octubre de 2026. Nació el 16 de enero de 1936 en Sualtepec, Guerrero, México.
Ella fue una madre y abuelita ejemplar con una gran calidez humana. Tenía fiel devoción a rezar el rosario todos los días. Le encantaba cantar alabanzas al Señor y siempre tenía un abrazo y una sonrisa para todos.
Fue precedida en vida por su esposo, Andrés Bahena, y sus hijos, Juana y Eusebio Bahena.
Su amor y legado continúan a través de su gran familia. Le sobreviven sus hijos: Félix, Refugio, Antonio, Agustín, Emiliano y Santos. Deja también una hermosa y gran familia compuesta por 58 nietos, 108 bisnietos y 19 tataranietos.
La familia recibirá a amigos y seres queridos para la velación el lunes 12 de octubre de 2026 de 6:00 PM a 8:00 PM
en Byrum Funeral Home. El Santo Rosario se rezará a las 7:00 PM durante la velación.
La celebración de su vida se llevará a cabo el martes 13 de octubre de 2026 a las 11:00 AM en la Iglesia Católica Divine Mercy, ubicada en 1585 E. Cartwright Rd, Mesquite, TX.
El sepelio se llevará a cabo a continuación en el Cementerio Holy Redeemer en DeSoto, Texas.
In Loving Memory of Maria Bahena Solano
Maria Bahena Solano, of DeSoto, Texas, passed away on October 6, 2026. She was born on January 16, 1936, in Sualtepec, Guerrero, Mexico.
Maria was a devoted mother and a cherished grandmother who radiated human warmth. Guided by a deep faith, she was devoted to praying the rosary every single day and found great joy in singing praises to the Lord. She will be remembered for always having a warm hug and a beautiful smile for everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andres Bahena, and her children, Juana and Eusebio Bahena.
Maria leaves behind a vast and loving legacy. She is survived by her children: Felix, Refugio, Antonio, Agustin, Emiliano, and Santos. She is also survived by a beautiful, expansive family made up of 58 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Byrum Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM during the visitation.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, located at 1585 E. Cartwright Rd, Mesquite, TX.
Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in DeSoto, Texas.
