Mark Allen Tharp of Addison, Texas was born October 21, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Maribell (Bragg) and Maurice Allen Tharp, Jr. He passed from this life on July 31, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son Preston Tharp and fiancée Siairra Gaydon; daughters Paige Tharp and Lexi Tharp; sister, Cheryl Ridlehuber and husband, Ron; brother Mike Tharp and wife Ginger; nephews and nieces, Kenneth Ridlehuber and fiancée Katherine Montoya; Matthew Tharp and wife Lauren; Holly Ambuehl and husband Jacob; Cameron Tharp; and great nieces, Brooklyn Tharp, Caroline Tharp and Emory Ambuehl.

Mark graduated from Kimball High School and Southern Methodist University, both in Dallas, Texas.

Mark was Vice President at Harkinson Investment Corporation.

Mark had many loves. He loved the Lord. He loved his children and his family. He loved anything outdoors - golf, biking, boating, mud running and riding his motorcycle. He loved his Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. Mark loved his friends- high school, work, men's bible group, prison ministry, faith, carcinoid cancer support group and countless others.

The family would like to thank the many friends that stood by his side and supported him during his long battle. You truly made a difference in his life.
