Marvin Cecil Wade was born March 6, 1931 in Abilene, TX to Jessie Lawrence and
Rosa (Blevins) Wade and passed from this life on July 21, 2020 in Bedford, TX.
Marvin was a self-made, man. After establishing Elite Limousine of Dallas in 1977, Marvin drove
thousands of people throughout the 40 plus years he was in business. People were drawn to his friendly and outgoing nature and many he met along the way became very close friends. He was a man with an extremely kind and loving heart who would do anything for anyone. He was known to always carry a smile on his face and bring joy simply with his presence. He was strong in spirit and conviction and showered his family with love and affection.
Marvin was lucky enough to find love twice in his life. He spent 60 blissful years with his beautiful wife Betty and stood loyally by her side until her passing in 2008. He spent the last years of his life with his longtime companion Dolores White.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty June Wade; his son, Kenneth Dale Wade;
and his daughter, Peggy Ann Patison.
Marvin is survived by his son, Cecil Wade; his daughter, Vickie Wade (Laura); his Grandchildren, Paul Patison III (Dana), Stacie Decker (Darrin), Misty Wade and Cecili Wade; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Marvin's legacy will live on through those that loved him and who affectionately called him Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother and friend.
