Melinda Ann Canchola was born March 9th 1956 in Refugio Texas to parents David R Canchola and Mary Arcelia (Jaso) Canchola.
Melinda passed away on April 2nd 2020 after a short stay in hospice.
Melinda was a longtime Lancaster, TX resident. She graduated from Wilmer Hutchins High School in 1973. She attended Mountain View College and North Texas State. Melinda worked for the Wilmer Hutchins School District in the Special Education department until she retired.
Melinda was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and older brother Stephen J. Canchola; sister in law, Terry K. (Jolliff) Canchola; and numerous other family members.
Melinda is survived by her brother, Orlando Canchola; nephew, David R Canchola; and niece, Baylee D. Canchola, all of Okmulgee, OK; Aunt Mary F. (Jaso) Perez and Uncle Arthur O. Perez of Lancaster, TX; Uncle David R. Jaso and Aunt Rita Jaso of Georgetown, TX; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Melinda attended St Francis Catholic Church in Lancaster, TX. She enjoyed cooking. She loved all animals and game shows. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
