He was preceded in death by his fathers, Melvin Mair and Joe Boone. He is survived by mother Guinn Boone; sister Monique Moffitt & husband James; nephews, Cody & Conner Beverley. Later in Melvin's adulthood, he reconnected with his father, big Melvin, brother Brandon Mair, and sister Jennifer Razis.
