Myles Gravesby Ewing, 38, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on March 26, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Dallas, TX surrounded by family.
Myles was born on January 12, 1988, in Dallas, Texas. He proudly served his country as a Crew Chief in the United States Air Force and continued his service full-time in the Air Force Reserve. His dedication to his country was matched only by his devotion to his family.
Myles was known as the comedian of the family—always making others laugh, playing jokes, and bringing lightness to any room he entered. He had a laid-back spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to lift others up, no matter the situation.
He is survived by his children, McKynzie Lacy, Emma Flores, and Adilynn Ewing; his parents, Bob and Patty Nesmith; his siblings, Heather and Jason DeWitt, Matt and Melissa Ewing, and Holly and Brad Dunn; his cousins, Dixon Raines, Ashley Williams, and Jill Baker; his nieces and nephews, Madison Ewing, Mallory Ewing, Keegan DeWitt, Logan DeWitt, Hadley DeWitt, Samantha Dunn, and Aiden Dunn; as well as many aunts and uncles, and his beloved 91-year-old grandmother, Margaret Ewing.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Pat Raines and Vernon Ewing; his cousin, Jenna Johnson; and his uncle, Bobby Raines.
A service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered, and the honor guard will present the flag to his mother in recognition of his service.
