Nancy Wilder Ragland passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 20, 1930, to Theo & Mary Emma Hood Wilder. She attended Lancaster Schools and was an LHS Cheerleader. She married Paul Ragland on August 15, 1947. They were married 61 years and raised four wonderful children. She was a long time member of Pleasant Run Church of Christ & Northside Church of Christ in Lancaster as well as Northside Church of Christ in Carthage.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ted; and her beloved husband, Paul. Nancy is survived by her children, Paul Ragland (Carol), Danny Ragland (Gladys), Teddy Ragland (Vicki), and Joni Ragland Lee (Scott). She was a very special Maw-Maw to 9 grand-children and several great-grands. She was also known and loved as "Aunt Nancy" to many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Carthage Healthcare Center for all the love and many years of taking care of our Mom (aka Granny) as well as HeartsWay Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Mom.

Nancy loved to cook, read, fish, and watch her favorite Texas Ranger's Baseball! She was a devoted Christian and loved her family with everything she had. She was the best Mom, Wife, and Maw-Maw, and we were so blessed by her!

Visitation will be Thursday, March 9th, from 10:00 – 12:00 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster. A graveside will be Thursday, March 9th at 2:00 at DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie.
