Neita Joyce Hart Hamilton's Obituary
Neita Joyce Hart Hamilton was born September 25, 1939 in Detroit, TX to Charles Edwin (Bud) and Willie B. (Anderson) Byron and passed from this life on August 10, 2020 in Dallas, TX.
Neita loved Christ first and above all else. She didn't have to tell anyone as they could see Him living in her through her deeds. She loved the ministry and used this throughout her career and later on as a church school principal. She also became an ordained minister and was able to teach others about our loving God. Even in her later years, in a nursing home, she led church services, giving hope to those who may have been forgotten. Throughout her ministry, she loved to cook for and feed all of her family and friends, especially those who may have needed a hand or two. She loved to sew, making clothes for everyone including all the cheerleading/drill team uniforms. Neita developed Parkinson's disease and dealt with it for the last 30 years. In spite of that burden, she continued with optimism and showed the world around her the love of God in all her actions. Although Christ was her first love, Blue Bell Ice Cream wasn't far behind.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. M. L. Hart; her husband later in life, Breney Hamilton; her son, Charles Lynn Hart; her granddaughter, Janice Nicole Kostecka; and her brothers, Valgene and Billy Byron.
Neita is survived by her daughter, Nina Delaney and husband Raymond of Hutchins, TX: her granddaughter, Brittany Renea Kostecka and husband Nick of Klamath Falls, OR; her brother, Jerry Byron and wife Diane of Sherman, TX; her sister, Delores Moseley and husband Leon of Trinidad, TX; her sister in-law, Polly Byron of Seagoville, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service to be at 10:00am, Saturday, August 15, 2020 also at Byrum's. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, Tx.
