Nickie Wayne DeCorte was born August 15, 1963, and passed away January 11, 2022. Nickie was an avid boater with a "bigger than life" presence. He was a member of Big D Snake Charmers.
Nickie is preceded in death by mother, Ida Mae James.
He is survived by his father, Nickie DeCorte; his sons, Jeffery DeCorte (Apryl) and Nathan DeCorte; his daughter, Tonya DeCorte; his brothers, Allen Ross DeCorte and Ron E. DeCorte; and his sister, Brenda Kay Miles (Danny). Nickie is a grandfather to Brennan, Ava, and Bennett. He is an uncle to several nieces and nephews and had several lifelong friends.
The viewing for Nickie will be held at Byrum Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 10:00am - 12:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 12:00pm.
