Paul Lynn Brockington of Italy, Texas, was born on September 9, 1958, and passed away on August 8, 2026.

Paul cherished spending time with his siblings and friends, enjoying activities such as fishing, hunting, and social gatherings. A Lancaster High School graduate in Texas, he contributed to building golf courses and later managed projects for burying telecommunications cables, often working out of state.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland L. and Sallie Ruth Coker Brockington of Lancaster, TX; his sister, Sally Maxine Johnson of Garland, TX; his brother, Ronnie Joe Brockington; Ronnie's wife, Ruth Ann Brockington; and nieces and nephews, Darlene Johnson McCarty, Melinda Brockington Turnage, and David Brockington.

Paul is survived by his brother R.L. Brockington and his wife Merle of Whitney, TX; his brother Michael Gene Brockington and his wife Wilma of Mesquite, TX; nephews, Jason and John Brockington, and his brother, Kyle Brockington of Waxahachie, TX; nephew Jared Brockington and his wife Jenny of Honduras; niece Kristin and her husband Matt DeCampo of Seattle; his sister, Rose Marie Hilner, and her husband Tom of Midlothian, TX; nephew Kevin McGuyer and his wife Jacqueline of Caddo Mills, TX; and nephew Wesley McGuyer of Midlothian, TX.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM on August 18, 2026, at Byrum Funeral Home, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, TX.
