En Memoria de Pedro Medina Ruiz

Con el corazón lleno de tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Pedro Medina Ruiz, a la edad de 80 años, quien partió de este mundo en paz y rodeado de toda su amada familia el 31 de agosto de 2026. Nacido el 19 de agosto de 1946, Pedro vivió su vida compartida entre Lancaster, Texas, y México, dejando una huella imborrable en las comunidades de ambos lugares.

Pedro fue un hombre fuerte y trabajador que amó profundamente a su familia y dedicó su vida a trabajar la tierra. Como agricultor entregado, se sentía muy orgulloso de su labor y tenía un amor y una ternura especiales por sus animales y sus parcelas. Su fuerza, determinación y dedicación al trabajo fueron una inspiración para todos los que lo conocieron. Fue una fuente constante de sabiduría para su familia; las lecciones que enseñó, las historias que compartió y los innumerables momentos que pasaron juntos vivirán por siempre. También fue un hombre notablemente generoso y de gran corazón, siempre dispuesto a ayudar a los demás sin esperar nada a cambio.

Más allá de su entrega al trabajo, Pedro trajo inmensa alegría y risas al mundo. Conocido por su personalidad alegre, ocurrente y su maravilloso sentido del humor, siempre sabía cómo hacer sonreír a los demás. Ya fuera con un bailecito divertido, un chiste o su forma tan única de alegrar el lugar, siempre les recordaba a quienes lo rodeaban que la vida se debe vivir con amor, familia, bondad y alegría.

Aunque decirle adiós es increíblemente difícil, su familia está profundamente agradecida por cada momento que tuvieron la bendición de compartir con él. El amor de Pedro seguirá vivo a través de su familia y de cada persona cuya vida tocó. Puede que ya no camine a nuestro lado, pero su recuerdo permanecerá en nuestros corazones para siempre.

A Pedro le sobreviven su amada esposa, María Concepción Fernández de Medina; su madre, Natividad Medina; y sus hijos con sus respectivos cónyuges: María Yolanda; Arturo y su esposa Elba; Roberto y su esposa Missar; Adriana y su esposo Lucio; Román y su esposa Adriana; Dora Alva y su esposo Bart; Ana Cruz; y Jessica Jazmín y su esposo Omar.

También le sobreviven sus 12 adorados nietos: Natalia, Jovany, Alexis, Emir, Christopher, Jonathan, Allison, Román, Mateo, Omar, Oliver y Fabian, así como una gran amorosa familia extendida y amigos.

Fue precedido en vida por su padre, Román Medina; sus dos hermanos, Salvador y Marcial Medina; y su hermana, Maribel Medina.

Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar, Papá. Te amamos y te extrañaremos más de lo que las palabras puedan expresar.

Descansa en paz, Papá.

Tu vida fue un regalo, tu amor será nuestro recuerdo y tu huella permanecerá para siempre en nuestros corazones.

Las visitas comenzarán a las 4:00 p. m. el jueves 3 de septiembre de 2026 en el domicilio ubicado en 205 E. 4th Street, Lancaster, TX 75146. La misa de funeral se celebrará el viernes 4 de septiembre de 2026 a las 10:00 a. m. en la iglesia católica San Francisco de Asís (St. Francis of Assisi) en Lancaster.

In Loving Memory of Pedro Medina Ruiz

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pedro Medina Ruiz, age 80, who departed this world peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on August 31, 2026. Born on August 19, 1946, Pedro spent his life beautifully split between Lancaster, Texas, and Mexico, making a lasting impact on communities in both places.

Pedro was a strong, hardworking man who loved his family deeply and devoted his life to working the land. As a dedicated farmer, he took great pride in his work and held a special love and tenderness for his animals. His strength, determination, and work ethic were an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was a constant source of wisdom for his family, and the lessons he taught, the stories he shared, and the countless moments spent together will live on forever.

He was also a remarkably generous man with a big heart, always willing to help others without ever expecting anything in return.

Beyond his dedication to his work, Pedro brought immense laughter and joy into the world. Known for his goofy personality and wonderful sense of humor, he always knew how to make people smile. Whether it was through a silly dance, a funny joke, or his playful way of lighting up a room, he constantly reminded those around him that life is meant to be lived with love, kindness, and joy.

While saying goodbye is incredibly difficult, his family is deeply grateful for every moment they were blessed to share with him. Pedro’s love will continue to live on through his family and every person whose life he touched. He may no longer walk beside us, but his memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Pedro is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Concepcion Fernandez de Medina; his mother, Natividad Medina; and his children and their spouses: Maria Yolanda; Arturo and his wife Elba; Roberto and his wife Missar; Adriana and her husband Lucio; Roman and his wife Adriana; Dora Alva and her husband Bart; Ana Cruz; and Jessica Jazmin and her husband Omar.

He is also survived by his 12 cherished grandchildren: Natalia, Jovany, Alexis, Emir, Christopher, Jonathan, Allison, Roman, Mateo, Omar, Oliver, and Fabian, as well as a large, loving extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roman Medina; his two brothers, Salvador and Marcial Medina; and his sister, Maribel Medina.

Until we meet again, Dad. We love you, and we will miss you more than words could ever express.

Visitation will start at 4:00pm at the home at 205 E. 4th Street, Lancaster, TX 75146 on Thursday, September 3, 2026. A funeral mass will be at 10:00am on Friday, September 4, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lancaster.
