Ray Ann Burrow was born October 26, 1939 in Denver, CO and passed from this life on June 20, 2021.
Mamaw was the hardest working, strongest, most warm person. She didn't follow traditional norms. She made her own way and made everyone feel like family. She loved to work in the flower beds and garden, and she loved her grands and great-grands. Mamaw used her motorized chair (work truck) to haul limbs, weed eat, and take those grands on joy rides. Mamaw always had her way of making each of the grands feel special. She would take the grands on special trips, the movies, even Chuck E Cheese. Mamaw made blankets, pillows, curtains, clothes, dolls -- just about anything you could imagine. She could make it, and it always had her special touch. You could ask her to fix something, and it wasn't unusual for it to come back with a little extra something sewn on. Her Family was her pride and joy, and her homemade cooking was always a big hit. Whether it was jelly, cocoa sugar pies, biscuits and gravy, cakes, cookies, or pies, you never left the house with an empty belly for sure.
Mamaw also loved her puppies. She loved every dog that ever walked into her yard that needed a home. She would always love them, take them in, and feed them. She treated them like they were little humans. They even got home cooked meals and ice cream treats.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Onie Burrow.
