Ricky Lynn Flanery was born on September 16, 1957 in Dallas, TX and passed from this life on November 29, 2025 in Midlothian, TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia Stockbridge Flanery; his father, John Harris Flanery; his nephew, Anthony Lynn Flanery; and his brother-in-law, George Clifford Harper.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Mary Louise Flanery; his daughter, Alicia Z Millican and husband Sean; his sister, Regina Gay Burton and husband Brent; his brother, Mark Anthony Flanery and wife Billie; and his 6 grandchildren, Mckenna, Landry, Camden, Stratton, Scout, and Sadie.

A celebration of Ricky's life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2025 with visitation to begin at 10:00 am at Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Ricky's name to the American Cancer Society.
