Robert Nelson Peebles was born December 7, 1930 in Greggton, TX to Wilbert Nelson and Gladys Wilma (Wilson) Peebles and passed from this life October 18, 2020 in Mesquite, TX.

Robert was a Navy veteran who proudly served his country in the Korean War. He loved animals and watching birds. He also enjoyed antiques and was partial to a good margarita.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Joann as well as his parents.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Jan Peebles; his son, Steve Peebles and wife Dianna; his daughter, Lisa Caillet and husband Craig; his daughter, Dina Zoeller and husband Charles; his grandchildren, Crystal Caillet, Amber Caillet, Lauren Ruiz, Melissa Peebles, Mark Zoeller, Matt Zoeller, Mike Zoeller, and Stephen Austin Peebles; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Pavillion in Edgewood Cemetery, Lancaster.
