Robert Andrew Smith was born August 27, 1955 in Colorado to Bailey Ezell and Amber Frances (Lucky) Smith. He passed from this life on April 4, 2023 at his residence in Glenn Heights.

Robert graduated from high school in Hobbs, New Mexico. From there, he had a brief stent in the army before having various jobs throughout his life. Robert loved the Lord and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, as well as his beloved brother and sister, Bailey Smith and Donna Person.

Robert is survived by his brother, Danny (Jeannie) Lucky; his uncle, Donald Lucky; his sister-in-law, Sandy Smith; his brother-in-law, Brent Person; his nephews, Scott Smith, Steven (Ashley) Smith, Josh (Andrea) Smith, Phillip (Jennie) Lucky, and Jeremy (Cortney) Lucky; his niece, Stacy Person; many great nieces and nephews as well as cousins.

A celebration of Robert's life will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster. A private inurnment will take place later in Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Robert's name to Home of Grace, 14200 Jericho Road, Vancleave, MS 39565
