Obituary

Roberta "Bobbie" Lee Simon was born August 17, 1939 in Los Angeles County, CA to Robert Francis and Mildred Clair (Canavan) Coyle and passed from this life on May 10, 2021 in Dallas, TX.

She married her husband, Karl Milton Simon, on August 26, 1957. They were married for 56 years until his death in October of 2013. They both enjoyed their herb shop, Pathways Herb, in Clarksville, VA for over 20 years.

Bobbie was very active in life. She enjoyed water aerobics at the Lancaster Senior Life Center and getting out and going places with her friends and family. She enjoyed all types of crafts, but mostly her crocheting and knitting.

She was an active member of the Lone Star Cowboy Church of Red Oak where she enjoyed coming every Sunday and listening to their wonderful music and band. She was also a member of their crochet group, God's Woven Hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Milton Simon; her son, Christian Karl Simon; and her grandson, Jay Kurtis Simon.

Bobbie is survived by her son, Kurtis Karl Simon and wife Jerilynn; her daughter, Colleen Elizabeth Allen and husband Royce; her grandchildren, Jerry Ray, Jade, Jolynn, Suzanne, Whitney, and Crystal; and her great-grandchildren, Ashton, Kai, Dakota, Andrew, Teaghan, Ian, Floyd, Memphis, Leland, Keelin, Phoebe, Aydin, Levi, Heather, and Michael.

A celebration of Bobbie's life will be at 12:00pm, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Lone Star Cowboy Church of Red Oak, TX.
