Sandra Powers Andrews was born on August 27, 1948, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on July 2, 2026, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Sandra graduated from Gregory-Portland High School in 1966 and began working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She married Robert "Bob" Andrews on August 3, 1968, and was a devoted wife and mother.

While raising their three children, Sandra owned and operated her own bookkeeping business for several years. She later worked as an accountant for ExxonMobil.

Sandra was a faithful Christian woman who spent many years teaching children's Bible classes and Vacation Bible School. She especially loved reading Bible stories with her five grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Nonnie."

She showed her love by cooking for friends and family. She also enjoyed trying new recipes and gardening.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Jimmie Powers; and her grandparents, Buck and Opal Johnson and Frank and Francis Powers.

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Andrews; her siblings, Jerry Powers and wife Linda, Billy Powers and wife Vicky, and David Powers and wife Annie; her children, Julie Jackson and husband Ron, Brad Andrews and wife Carrie, and Kristi Frick and husband Aaron; and her grandchildren, Brooke Jackson, Breanne Jackson, Cade Andrews, Aden Frick, and Walker Frick.

At Sandra's request, the family will honor her life privately, and no public memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Mission Printing Ministry through Brown Street Church of Christ or to The Moral Courage Foundation in Ellis County.
