Sandy McClary Whaley was born June 13, 1943 in Montague, TX to Deward Debs and Effie Mae (Taylor) Echols and passed from this life on November 25, 2020 in DeSoto, TX.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leroy; her second husband, Charles Whaley; her sons, Leroy McClary and Cary McClary; her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Charles Leeper; and her brother, Jimmy Echols.

Sandy is survived by her sons, Dewey McClary and Jeff McClary; her step-daughter, Debi Parker; her grandchildren, Jennifer McDonald, Shane Kirkpatrick, July McClary, Crystal Fisher, Jordan McClary, Jillian McClary, and Zachery McClary; her 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
