Santos Valadez Torres, Sr. was born February 27, 1941 in New Braunfels, Texas and passed away January 17, 2021 in Dallas Texas.
He was preceded by his parents, Meliton and Marcelina Torres; his sisters, Luz Avila and Antonia Hernandez; his brothers, Juan Torres Sr., Pedro Torres Sr., and Jesse Torres Sr.
Santos is survived by his wife of 57 years, Modesta L. Torres; his children, Santos Torres, Jr, Meliton Torres, Sr., Ruby Torres, and David Torres; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Meliton Torres, Sr. and Rudy Torres, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with Rosary beginning at 2:00pm.
Celebration of Life will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 also in Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
