Sean Myatt Ingram, a beloved father, husband, and friend, was born on June 22, 1962, in Altus, OK. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on April 7, 2025, at the age of 62. He was raised in Norman, OK and attended OU. His extraordinary life was marked by his unwavering love for his family, his boundless skills, his wealth of knowledge on many subjects and his ability to bring laughter to all who knew him.

Sean was a man who could fix anything, from broken lawn mowers to cars, from chain saws to fork lifts and finally multi-million-dollar conveyance machinery for retail distribution centers. His incredible ability to repair, rebuild, and restore anything that needed attention reflected the strength, intelligence and dedication he brought to every aspect of his life. A natural teacher, Sean instilled invaluable life lessons in those lucky enough to learn from him, especially his two sons, Ian, 27, and Jake, 25, who were the pride of his life.

Sean was revered as an amazing chef, with a true passion for cooking. Whether crafting meals for family evening meals or experimenting with new recipes, his culinary creations were a source of pride and joy for all who had the privilege of sitting at his table. His skills were evident in every dish he prepared and every moment he shared with his loved ones.

Above all, Sean had an incredible sense of humor that could lift one's spirits. He was the fierce protector of his family and a source of strength for all those who needed him. His love and pride for Ian and Jake were unmatched, and he devoted himself wholeheartedly to being the best father he could be and instilling in them his zest for life.

Sean loved to go sailing and was an avid snow skier as a young man, passions he pursued with enthusiasm and dedication. He had the privilege of skiing at many ski resorts in Colorado, but his favorite was Breckenridge. He loved the slopes, cherished the adventure, challenge, racing, jumping, and the beauty that skiing brought to him. He loved visiting Colorado to visit his wonderful Myatt relatives who reside there.

Sean is survived by his loving wife and partner of 37 years, Sue Ingram; their two children, Ian Ingram and his wife, Natalie, and Jake Ingram-Rodriguez and his husband, Eduardo; his parents, Roy and Huwanta Blasius; his sister in law, Suzanne Ingram; and several beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dana Ingram.

Sean leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, intelligence, tenacity and wisdom. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Byrum Funeral Home. A celebration of Sean's life will be at 11:00am on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster, TX. The family will hold a private interment at a later date.
