January 28, 1938 to March 24, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our mother, Shirley Ann Pederson Barnard. She passed away on March 24, 2023, after a period of declining health. Although she had been bedridden, we find some comfort in the fact that she passed away kneeling at her bedside. Faith was a cornerstone of Mom's life, and her deep-rooted trust in God was evident in her daily actions and now in the final moments.
Our Mom was a devoted mother to her five children, a cherished grandmother to her eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and also survived by two sisters. While we will miss her greatly, we take solace in the fact that she is now resting peacefully in heaven and reunited with our father, who preceded her. We will always cherish our fond memories and she will be deeply missed, especially by her family.
Family service will be at a later date.
