Shirley Ann Patterson Cordell, 74, of Willow Park, Texas, died Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas. She was born July 5, 1947, in Corsicana, to Oscar Fred Patterson and Mary Ellen Henderson. She retired from JCPenney Corporate office in the early 2000's. She enjoyed spending her retirement with her family, friends, and her dog, Colty Bear. She also enjoyed traveling to her favorite place, the beach.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-sister, Carolyn Patterson Dechaume.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Bendy Cordell Maddox of Ferris; her son, Michael Pippin of McKinney; three grandchildren, Cameron Maddox of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Tanner Maddox of Owasso, Oklahoma and Cheyenne Pippin of Dover, Arkansas; her extended family, Anne Bishop, Patty and Mike Powell, and Kasa Willingham; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and many other friends.
