Shirley F Mitchell, 66, of Southlake, Texas passed away on April 3 2020 with family by her side. She was born to parents Johnny Dee and Faye Flatt in Dallas Texas on September 29th 1953. She grew up in Lancaster Texas where she graduated highschool in 1971.

Shirley married the late David Mitchell in 1981 and ultimately resided in Southlake Texas for 25 years. Shirley is survived by her son, Jonathan Mitchell, daughter Ashley (Craig) Atchison, her step son David (Nicola) Mitchell, her sister Peggy(Bill) Collins and other family members and friends. Shirley had 3 grandkids; Kinley Atchison (7), Kellen Atchison (2) and Vivienne Mitchell (5) whom she loved and adored more than anything on this earth.
Shirley preceded by her husband, her parents, and her two brothers, Johnny Paul Flatt and Larry Flatt.

Shirley had a kind heart, quick whit and a warm smile. She always put others before herself even in her final days. Shirley was devoted to her family, they meant everything to her. She was a free spirit, hilarious and loved to have fun. She loved a late night cup of coffee, enjoying desserts at new restaurants and spending time in casinos with her siblings.
She was the strongest person with the sweetest soul and a true friend to everyone lucky enough to meet her. Rest In Peace Shirley, Nana and Mom.
