Tommie Jo Lonon, 88, born January 28,1933 in Ferris, Texas to Harvey and Millie Singleton and passed from this life on August 7, 2021 in Mansfield, TX.

Tommie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Winiford Wayne Lonon.

She is survived by sister, Mildred Priddy and brother, Raymond Singleton, both of Midlothian, Texas; her nephew Troy Priddy and wife, Dot of Midlothian; nieces, Lynda Penny of Ovilla and Sherri Henry and husband, Scott of Midlothian; her great-niece; her 5 great-nephews; her 5 great-great nieces and one great-great nephew.

Tommie graduated from Ferris High School in 1951 and was employed by
Federal Reserve Bank, Dallas, Texas for 37 years, retiring in 1991. She married in 1954 and lived in Lancaster, Texas until after the death of her husband and then moved to Red Oak, Texas. She currently resided at Midtowne Assisted Living in Midlothian, Texas. Nanny, as she was known by her family, was a member of First Baptist Church in Lancaster, Texas and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Out of respect for Tommie's wishes, there will not be a viewing/visitation. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Edgewood Cemetery, Nokomis Road @ Belt Line Road, Lancaster, Texas.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and caregivers of Midtowne Assisted Living & Memory care, staff of Infinite Care, Medical team at Mansfield Methodist Hospital and Heart to Heart Hospice Group.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lancaster First Baptist Church Sound System, Alzheimer Association, or American Heart Association.
