Virginia Louise Beuke McCalla, also known as Mom, Sister, Ginny, Granny and GiGi, passed from this life on October 1, 2024. She was born on June 18, 1942, to Marvin R. and Lois V. Beuke in Woodward, OK.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Charlie Pate McCalla, Jr.; both parents; her brother, Carl Beuke; and her loving grandson, Christopher Kevin Pate Butler.

She is survived by her loving brother, Vernon Beuke and wife Sharon; her daughters, Connie Butler and Christi McCalla; her grandchildren, Heather Schoonover, Hope Thompson, Cassie Butler, Callie Butler, Jonathan McCalla and wife Patricia, and Michael Reschman; great-grandchildren, Kenzi Jones, Elijah Butler, and Kash Jones. She is also survived by Steve Butler, Chad Butler, Mary and Jearl Cunningham, Donnie and Pat McCalla, numerous nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved.

Virginia was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Red Oak and had been missing her church family in recent months as well as her craft club friends in Fritch, TX, bridge friends, domino friends, poker friends, and her many friends at The Grand Reserve. She stayed busy and lived life to the fullest. Virginia was the caretaker of all people. She has helped to shape many young people and enjoyed caring for all.

Family will receive friends and family from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Byrum Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm following visitation. Interment will be immediately following the service at Edgewood Cemetery, Lancaster.
