Virginia Conner, 94, of Waxahachie, passed away on February 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Paul Conner, who passed away in 2020. Due to covid restrictions at that time, a private burial was held for immediate family members only. The celebration of life for Virginia will also include Paul. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Elizabeth Beaver; five brothers, Clifford, Milton, David, Arnold and Odis; four sisters, Anna, Marie, Ruth and Dorothy. She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Cantrell. Virginia attended and graduated Wilmer Hutchins High School where she met Paul. She worked as a secretary and eventually retired from the banking business. She was a faithful, life-long member of First Baptist Church of Hutchins where she donated much of her time to the church library. She is also survived by her son, Michael and wife Gloria; her daughter, Marsha; two grandchildren, Christi and husband Andy, and Adrienne and husband Bobby; six precious great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of both Virginia and Paul's lives will be at 11:00am on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Hutchins with interment following at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will begin at 10:30am at the church.
