Virginia Roark Henderson was born October 5, 1940 in Dallas, TX to Vernon and Veola (Fouts) Roark. She passed away September 25, 2019 in Dallas, TX.

Virginia was very proud of Duncanville, TX. She graduated from Duncanville High School in 1959. Shortly after that, Virginia began working for the Duncanville Independent School District in 1962. She retired from DISD with an incredible 42 years of service. Virginia attended the First Baptist Church of Duncanville. She was also a member of the Adult 1 Sunday School Group who she very much enjoyed volunteering with at the Duncanville Outreach Center.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Merwyn Henderson as well as her beloved son, Van R. Reynolds.

She is survived by her daughter, Vanise L. Hinesly and husband, Michael; her son, Vernon Reynolds and wife, Terri; her grandchildren, Brandon Reynolds, Dustin Reynolds, Andrew Hinesly, Rachel Hinesly, and Judson Hinesly.

Family will receive friends from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, September 27, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00am, Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
