Vivian Beard, our mother, grandma, and great grandma, went to be with Jesus November 7, 2021, at the age 94.
She is survived by her son Malcolm and his wife Marty Beard, her daughter Julia Williams, six grandchildren: Jared Beard and wife Anna, Brittany Moore and husband Matt, Drew Williams and wife Lindsay, Dustan Williams, Aubri Bonilla and husband Ryan, and Luci Williams; also five great grandchildren: Logan, Harper, Cayden, Tuf and Hadley, with two great grandbabies on the way: Keith Alexander & Kaliana Jade, with many nieces and nephews. Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Beard, her parents Enoch and Lois Shaw, sister Carol Hansen and her husband Howard.
Vivian was a graduate of Wilmer-Hutchins High School. She loved all animals, especially cats and dogs. She was an exceptionally good cook and loved cooking for others. She loved cooking shows, embroidery, and she was an avid fan of PBS.
Vivian loved good music (Willie Nelson, Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr., Michael Buble, Sting, Rod Stewart, Big Band, and the list goes on). She was a die-hard Aggie Fan; but mostly she loved her family and friends.
The service will be graveside at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, Texas, at 2:00 PM Friday, November 12,2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas A&M University or the SPCA of your choice.
