She earned a Bachelors in Education from the University of North Texas and a Master's in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Education was priority for Whitney and teaching others gave her great joy. She worked as a 3rd grade teacher at Lake Country Christian School before earning a degree from Tarrant County College in American Sign Language where she found her calling as an interpreter for the hearing impaired. Whitney was passionate about serving the deaf community, seeing those far from Christ come to know him, and loving those around her with a full heart. She was a rare gem who will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
