Zanney Joe Green was born December 2, 1951 in Grapevine, TX and passed from this life on April 14, 2025 in Cedar Hill, TX.

Zanney loved being outside fishing. He also had a love of music: classic rock, southern rock, and country. If he was fishing or listening to music or anything else, you can bet he had on his favorite jeans and plaid flannel shirt!

He was preceded in death by his father, Olen Autrey Green; his mother, Urma Clive Green, and his sister, Georgia Pearl Green.

Zanney is survived by his brother, Olen Glen Green of Denton, TX; his sister, Linda Ann Rogers of Ft. Worth, TX; his nephew, Anthony M. Rogers, Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX; his nephew, James Joseph Rogers of Allen, TX; and his niece, Jennifer Michalewski of Rhome, TX.

A celebration of Zanney's life will be a graveside at 11:00am on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, TX with Pastor Ricky Allen officiating.
